Class Description:
In Leah’s class you will create an address book like no other! This little beauty is a girlfriends address book
filled with photos, cute tags, and clear pockets on practically every page. Leah’s love for flowers and bling
is obvious I this project: You get to play with crystal swirls, sequins, ribbon and flowers of all kinds, many of
which you will create in class. Leah will show you how to make a “page pocket”, a fold-out-page, and how to
bind it all together into a beautiful hardcover address book. As part of the class, you get an electronic copy
of the font, titles, and address labels that Leah used, so you can print out as many as you like and keep
track of your friends’ cell phone numbers, e-mails, blogs, and birthdays! And for those who want a more
general address book, you will have the option to make a “family and friends” address book.
Please bring the following to class:
Paper trimmer, scissors, liquid glue (preferably a fast-drying glue such as Art Glitter’s Designer Dries Clear
or Tombow Mono), ruler and pencil, stapler and staples, scalloped-edge scissors*, medium-sized dry
embossing tool*, 3/8” (or ½”) circle punch*, Crop-o-dile Big Bite*, Zutter Bind-It-All*.
*NOTE: Leah will bring 2-3 of each of these tools for those of you who don’t have them.
